What's this site? Well, if you know the real Tony Lucio (the Genuine Article, i.e. fat Italian from Chicago who's been spending the last decade lost in Kentucky; aka "Spamhead"; aka "Juggernaut"; aka et. al.) - and not one of those other Google-result impostors, this is his site.

If you're into cars, model trains, tinkering, and random stupid nerdy stuff, this site could also interest you.

If not, well... don't say you weren't warned!

Either way: Welcome, I'm glad you're here. Goingincirclez.com is a long-overdue yet oft-suggested project for me to start consolidating my various efforts and interests and regain (or attain?) some focus to my efforts.

Of course it's a work in progress. Right about here is where you'll normally find an animated .gif of a cartoon construction site, but typing this was much faster than finding one of those. And less aggravating to view. See that? I win, you win. Awesome! Let's have a frosty beverage. (Seriously though, this site's not done, not perfect, and will be prone to changes and the like, so insert boilerplate "this ain't my day job and I have a life so this is under construction ad ifinum caveat emptor disclaimer" here).

DOSSIER: "About me". Yeah yeah as if you really want to know. I mean if you're here, you shouldn't need to. But if you do who am I to say no? If you don't well that's pretty much normal. Blogs and other Web 2.yesterday stuff will be found here, but for now laziness wins. Oops! (Fair warning: while the rest of the site is written with all audiences in mind, the "Blogs" section will be uncensored, unfiltered headspew. I firmly believe, regardless of moral stance, that the few words still marked "taboo" today will be mundane within 20 years. So if the odd F-bomb or what have you still offends you... you might stay out of the Blog).

Kaleidery: Photo gallery built using a quick and dirty plugin. I have a TON of photos to share here, and more will be coming, but need to work on EXIF tagging for the gallery first. As well as a descriptive portal; it's kind of random right now.

Lucidity: When I actually get off my jolly butt and do something that could pass for "worthwhile creativity", it'll be featured here. The generic Hobby and Hacks section, currently featuring models and graphics. Eventually full-size automotive and random household projects will enter.

Saint Canard Midland: Homepage for the Saint Canard Midland, my family's model railroad and primary time chasm. Also will be the place where I share my workshop tips and other reference bits. I'm slated to have a few things published in commercial print media this year, so I guess I know what I'm talking about after all. Who knew?

Tycology: An offshoot of the model railroading theme, and one of the reasons I built this site. The Tyco trains of my childhood (70's - 80's) were and are mostly junk, it's true. But beneath the surface there's a fascinating aspect to then. And I'd argue the model railroading hobby would be better off if Tyco were still around today. For the collectors and dumpster divers out there, this is your tab.

Finally, please note that this site is heavily intensive for both text AND photos. I try to keep the photos under 200KB in size (for a native resolution oh 1200+px wide, that's good). This is manageable for all but the slowest connections.
